Healthy Break was developed to fill a knowledge gap in the market. Now supported by more than 50 clients, it has become the consistent voice in the health and wellness industry. One that Australia has grown to trust.
Our strategy was simple; we wanted Shaver Shop to look as big as possible in order to drive consumers into Shaver Shop stores this Christmas.
Stratosphere’s short term plan was to enhance The Good Guys ownable brand devices and ensure every media dollar worked as hard as possible to drive sales.
Our clear strategy was to launch ‘Made By Cow’ in a big way on a modest budget in a test market (Adelaide). Our aim was to gain the attention of the big national retail chains.
Our goal was to devise a media strategy to help grow enquiries and grow market share. In a category with restrictions on how services can be promoted, Stratosphere was given the task of developing a whole new creative strategy, highlighting Shine’s unique suite of services.
Most brand advertising will tell us how to feel about a product or service, but not why we should feel it. Healthy Break TVCs deliver salient features and benefits of products in a news-style format with a strong retail ending.
The hero device for this campaign was the ‘Gift Wreath’ which was executed across all print, in-store and online platforms. The gold and teal colouring screamed Christmas while still staying true to the brand colours with a voice that was undeniably retail. The catalogue was 24 pages long with a 12-page version created for the New Zealand market.
We crafted a bespoke opening for their retail commercials utilising their integral brand assets. We also redesigned their catalogue TVC layouts to ensure uniformity.
‘Made By Cow’ milk is the closest thing to real milk. That’s why it was important that our TVC communicated that. By using real people and not actors, we created an engaging testimonial-style TVC that not only re-introduced Aussies to real milk but left them with a rich and creamy taste of nostalgia.
Using vivid ‘scroll-stopping’ imagery, we played on the brand idea of ‘Social Animals’ to communicate the benefits of taking Hydrodol on a night out to avoid hangovers.
Our creative team developed new, engaging creative that spoke directly to the target audience across the country. From the moment the new creative went live, Shine Lawyers started hitting their monthly targets for enquiries.
Utilising Stratosphere’s media-buying power, we deliver on specific reach goals to ensure Healthy Break campaigns cut through and drive foot traffic into Chemist Warehouse stores. The inclusion of sporting and general entertainment sponsorships have allowed us to reach our goals in a cost-effective way.
In order to achieve cut through in the highly cluttered Christmas retail period, we utilised high-reaching channels to build reach and frequency quickly. Robust negotiations with TV networks gained access to high rating programs ensuring the campaign over-delivered by 70%.
By utilising a mixture of media channels, we were able to deliver a message strong enough to achieve expected results. Using TV, Radio and Print in all key markets helped us achieve this. In TV we focused on key days and worked with networks to deliver strong sponsorships to further enhance our message. Radio increased reach and frequency and allowed us to build a one-day takeover of key radio stations.
Stratosphere media negotiated an exclusive launch partnership with The Seven Network by accessing key programs and partnerships in TV. The delivered reach for this campaign far outweighed what was planned. Delivery achieved superseded our expectations by a whopping 100%.
A multi-platform TV, radio and online campaign during key sales periods was successful in increasing sales in a tough retail market. Our ability to research and target the right demographic was critical in delivering the client’s outcomes.
Our strategy focused on delivering efficiencies in key, high-reaching media channels, allowing Shine Lawyers to be on-air in key markets for as long as possible. We agreed to measurable price-benchmarking in all bought media, giving Shine Lawyers a guaranteed level of performance. We optimised media spend to deliver a strong return on investment.
Healthy Break has evolved into a robust digital marketing offering that builds targeted incremental reach. YOY digital reach per campaign has increased by 55% thanks to new buying methodologies and a large shift into programmatic and social. The introduction of social video in 2020 shows early results far exceeding industry benchmarks.
Our strategy in digital was to compliment TV, drive awareness for the campaign and support the online video assets across premium digital channels. Tactical placements and high impact mobile display drove users to the site and built up purchase intent. Click throughs and on-site conversions were at an all-time high during December’s key sale periods.
The strategy for online video was simple – innovate the buy to premium only and drive scale using programmatic video and audio, leveraging sophisticated targeting to build brand recall. This buying approach was successful for the client, as it ensured channel and platform efficiencies and aligned the brand to highly premium and relevant content, complimenting ATL during key retail periods.
To compliment the Adelaide campaign, we targeted audiences on Catchup-TV channels, using demo and geo-targeting to ensure a viable audience was reached during the launch. This proved to be a powerful strategy to extend reach on digital channels, build momentum and expose the brand to new audiences during the test campaign.
We created a fully immersive digital media strategy that included instream viewing, sponsored posts, banners and display advertising.
Our strategy was to introduce a ‘screens’ approach to the media plan in all markets. We also adopted a ‘test and learn’ strategy based on research around types of messaging, duration, and what content would appeal to each audience in each market.
Our in-house capabilities in both pre and post production means we operate seamlessly under one roof. Our teams are directly connected so feedback in both directions is immediate and responsive – with large scale turnarounds in short timeframes achievable. Our industry-standard professional equipment, sound-treated studios and experienced team allow for the highest production values, without a large price tag.
Our in-house edit facility rolled out a series of TVC’s which were streamlined with the catalogue. The team worked alongside the design studio to obtain assets, which made things prompt and seamless.
Our eight in-house edit suites meant we could offer huge efficiencies in producing the high volume of TVC’s required by The Good Guys. Our significant in-house production capabilities means economical time and costs without the need for outsourcing. Unlike traditional agencies, we offer a direct production workflow between clients and producers. Our formula is a nimble pipeline that is direct and instant.
Utilising Stratosphere studios and our in-house post edit facilities, we were able to develop and produce the TVC efficiently allowing us to direct the maximum amount of funds into media.
With a limited budget, production was tasked with producing five spots featuring actors dressed as ‘social animals’ in intricate costumes. We shot at Stratosphere studios against a bespoke set. The spots were then edited in-house and finished off with an edgy and sophisticated flair.
Our Production team executed a very carefully planned single-day shoot which captured all planned assets, video, stills and allowed the agency to deliver 28 versions across TV, online video and radio.
